Don’t Tread on Me Tattoo Designs

Don’t Tread on Me tattoos are a fairly common design in the United States. But they are also among one of the more controversial body art designs.  Based on the Gadsden Flag. picturing a rattlesnake, the design has a history dating back to colonial times. The flag was also the first ever recorded flag of the US Marine Corps. More recently the design has been co-oped by the Tea Party.
