Aloe Vera Face Packs for Different Skin Types

Aloe Vera! A moist plant with soothing properties, which has been used as an alternative for medicines since ages. Even a small cut can be healed by using aloe vera gel as a medicine. It has got vivid uses, in the form of gel, oil, juice, whole plant in soaps, creams and even tablets.

Aloe vera can be used for any skin type. It is very soothing and does not cause any irritation. The anti-inflammatory property that this plant consists helps in treating blemishes, acne and other skin problems. The gel is extracted from the leaves and when it is applied it softens skin dead cells. When applied regularly it helps in delaying of ageing lines and signs. Though a lot many of aloe vera products are available in the market, one can plant them at their place also and enjoy the benefits of its gel and juices.

If planting is not possible at your place, you can go for any aloe vera based cream or moisturisers. This products are really handy during summers and winters. For Normal skin

To make your skin look smooth and supple, take one tbsp of aloe vera gel and make a mixture with one tbsp of gram flour, one tbsp of orange peel powder and some curd. Apply it on your face and then it off after 30 minutes.

For Oily skin

Oily skin tend to have acne problems. This pack can create wonders to your skin if applied regularly. Boil aloe vera in water and then grind it to paste. Add few drops of honey to it and apply to your face. Wash it off with cold water after 15 minutes. To get clear skin apply this once a week.

For Sensitive skin

Mix aloe vera gel with cucumber juice and curd. Make paste of it and then 3 drops of rose water or any other essential oil. Mix well and apply to your face and neck. Wash it off with water. As this pack is very mild it does not cause any irritation instead clears the skin of dirt and impurities.

For Dry skin

Mix aloe vera gel with olive oil and add some shea butter to it. You can also shea butter based creams for this. Mix till you get a thick and apply it to your neck and skin. Keep this atleast for 20 minutes and rinse it off with cold water to lock the moisture in the skin.
