Later, she added a skull tattoo with a pink bow in 2008. A possible meaning of this is that, although a skull symbolizes something dangerous, the pink bow can neutralize it.
During a trip to New Zealand, Rihanna got a tribal dragon tattoo done through a traditional tattooing method. Although painful, she said that it symbolized strength and love. On one of her fingers, Rihanna also has a tattoo of the word Love. Rihanna is also fond of quotes as tattoos and several can be seen in various pictures of her.
