Not all celebrities have mansions, yachts, and fancy cars. Keep reading for five humble celebrities who live like normal people.

Celebrities live in multi-million mansions in high profile cities such as LA. Others have beach properties or private islands in exotic locations such as the Caribbean. Apart from multi-million dollar properties, they also own private jets and exotic sports cars.

What most people don’t know is that there are A-list celebrities who actually live like normal people. In fact, they shop for groceries with their kids, use public transport, or call rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft.

Want to know who are the stars that live modest lives? Here are five celebrities who live like normal people.

  1. Keanu Reeves

As an A-list movie star, Keanu Reeves is well known for the Matrix series as well as the John Wick movies. What most people don’t know is that Keanu Reeves is one of the humblest celebrities. In fact, Keanu Reeves gave 85% of his earnings from The Matrix to both the costume design and special effects team.

As the most laid-back A-list celebrity, Keanu once took a pay cut to have Al Pacino on The Devil’s Advocate. Apart from the pay cut, he donates millions of dollars to charity on a regular basis.

  1. Halle Berry

Another A-list celebrity who has not let the earnings of Hollywood change her outlook on life is Halle Berry. A former Bond girl, Halle Berry is openly frugal. In fact, she does not show off her personal fortune.

In one of her interviews, she commented that she is not “someone who has to have 10 cars and lots of diamonds.” Unlike most A-list celebrities, she saves for the future. On most occasions, she shops with her child for groceries like a normal person.

  1. Leonardo DiCaprio

The Titanic star is the most charitable male celebrity in Hollywood. As a proud owner of energy conscious vehicles, DiCaprio donates to many projects.

The Oscar-winning actor has raised more than $3 million for the World Wildlife Fund’s tiger habitat. He has also donated to impactful environmental projects.

One way to reduce your environmental impact like Leo is by maintaining your air conditioning. Learn more about an AC company that can service modest celebrity homes at pocket-friendly prices.

  1. Jennifer Lawrence

As one of the highest paid actors in the world and an Oscar winner for her role in the Silver Linings Playbook, she is worth more than $130 million. This would justify lavish spending wherever or whenever she sees fit.

That is not the case. Raised to value money, the Hunger Games star does not have a personal assistant. She organizes her calendar and buys groceries for herself. In fact, she looks for bargains like a normal shopper.

When it comes to cars, you would expect a fancy sports car in pink or red, but she drives a Chevy Volt.

  1. Paul McCartney

In 2018, Paul had a net worth of $1.2 billion. As a member of the Beatles, you would expect the child of a superstar to study in expensive private schools. Well, Paul McCartney enrolled her daughter in a state school.

Although the Beatles split up in 1970, Paul has put out dozens of records and sold millions of copies. Over the past few years, he has won over 21 grammies and was knighted in 1997 for his contribution to music.
