Junior Dresses for School Dances

Finding the best dance dresses can be a trying experience for teenagers. Junior dresses, while widely available, are not always affordable for young pocketbooks and the stress of that big dance can make finding the perfect junior dance dress even higher.  I like to shop at Target first, since it sometimes has some affordable choices. From there I move up to Nordstrom or Macy’s as needed.

This coming season look for cocktail length dresses in bright color. The bright color trend has been building in the junior dress area for a year or two now and does not appear to be going away.

However, neutrals and black dresses will also always be in style. Also silvers, blues, and pastels are very popular dance dress colors in stores right now. For example, this selection at Nordstrom shows just how popular and trendy those are.
