A Lip Plumper that Actually Works! Freeze 24/7 Tinted
Long ago, back when Beauty and Fashion Tech was young, I wrote about the clear version of freeze 24/7 lip plumper. At that time, I thought it showed a bit of plumping. Not much, but at least some, and usually I experience none with such products. In fact, I liked it so much, that I included it in my best products of 2007.
But I always worried that as much I loved the product that I imagined any plumping. When it comes to the tinted version I know that it is real, no false hopes stimulating my imagination with this one! Yes! The tinted version, Freeze 24/7 Mini PlumpLips IceSticksactually worked when I tried it!
I initially ordered a tinted Freeze 24/7 simply because even if there is no plumping, I love how the stuff feels and it gives a nice shine. It tingles more than any other plumper out there. So I wanted to get some with a bit of color because I like girly pink lips. I ordered the shade windchill, with is a peachy/pink shade, that looks a bit orange in the tube but goes on much more on the pink side than the coral or peach side.
I liked the shade, but I loved the plumping. To my amazement, my lips did what they were supposed to. They swelled up and looked visibly fuller. I was so happy that I ran around screeching, which made my dog go as nuts as I was (am)!
The only downside to Freeze 24/7 is the price, but Spalook.com has it a bit cheaper than some other places. The temptation is huge for me to go buy a few more shades!

I have to admit I have never read a blog dedicated to “All things lipstick, gloss, and balm” and now that I have I am a bit surprised. If someone had asked me earlier if there were enough topics to fill a blog of this particular vein I would have said “No.” It looks as though you have proven me wrong. Even though I don’t wear anything that would could ever be described as glossy
this is a nice read. Thanks for the Entrecard and introducing me to another really cool blog.

I’ve never tried lip plumpers, but I think I’m going to start a list and look into it – starting with this one!

I think I’d need to see “plumping proof” before shelling out $40! How did you determine that it worked?

Unfortunately it is rather expensive. Note that you can get the mini size, which isn’t all that “mini” for $24. I determined that it worked based on general observation when I used it. It is the first time that I could actually see any plumping from a lip plumping product. It wasn’t a huge amount, but it was there.

I have this lip plumper (in Windchill), but haven’t written about it because I didn’t think it worked! However, I put it on, and asked my mom if my lips looked bigger, and she said yes! My boyfriend thinks my lips look good when I wear it also.

i just ran across this and since you like stuff that plumps your lips i thought i’d let you know what REALLY works for ME!
i use a combination of two things. (or three if i want more color) pretty simple and VERY cheap!
First i apply all my “Maximum Plumping Lip treatment” by Sally Hansen (i have the color “clearly Lovely) and then i apply “Lip Inflation” ALSO by Sally Hansen (that’s just a clear gloss) together these seem to do the trick. The latter of the two works by itself but the combination is better (for me anyway)
If i want a pretty pink color or something i usually use one of my cover girl lip sticks in between. But apply it with a lipstick brush or it will gook up you lipstick (duh)
you can feel the tingle and then voila! Pucker your poochy lips! lol

Hi Krystal! Sally Hansen has some great lip products. I have both of those, but don’t think I ever tried them together. I’ll give it a try!

Thanks for writing this. I have thin lips and I was looking for something.
