Sporting Eye Makeup While Wearing Contact Lenses

November 6, 2014

Not everyone seems to be comfortable with those glasses on their faces. But still not knowing the options or afraid of the options we wear those uncomfortable glasses every time. The best options to these glasses are contact lenses. Especially when it’s your eye makeup you should be very careful as this may cause you discomfort and irritation. Here we are today to make you aware of how can avoid such problems while you are having contact lenses on.

Eye_Makeup_While_Wearing_Contact_LensesGirls are generally found of pairing different lenses with different outfits. Some do it to have a different look while for some it’s like of doing it daily. But doing makeup with the same is bit of unmanageable. You have to take extra care of your eyes and those lenses while doing makeup. You should always wear your lenses with clean hands. So make sure you have washed your hands properly and they are germ free.

Store your lenses in a cool and dry place away from strong fragrances and oily materials. Also keep them away from the reach of kids. Always wear your lenses before you start applying makeup. Make a note of using fragrance and oil free makeup. Also the makeup being used should be water resistant specially the eye liner and the mascaras. Avoid the mascara which creates lash fibres.

Never do your hairspray with open eyes especially when you are wearing those lenses. Wear your lenses before you start doing your eye makeup. Start with your eyeliner and don’t apply the same inside of the lashline. Your hand might get disturbed and you may by mistake hurt your eyes and those lenses. This might also create irritation to your eyes. Never apply liner while you are travelling.

Go for those cream eye shadows instead of those powdered one. It can be controlled while applying which reduces the consequences of dust being coming in contact with your eyes. Always remove your make up before going to sleep with oil free remover, and always remove your lenses before removing make up. If you are having any irritation or itching avoid wearing lenses.

Never share your makeup as the brushes catch infection much faster and it can be transmitted easily to your eyes. So girls, now wear your lenses without any fear of getting infection. But be extra careful while handling them. Enjoy your glass free moments.
