When I have allergies I also do the following to help beat Allergy Face:

(1) I use easy to apply cream cosmetics. Look for soft cream items, not hard pan items. That way you will not be irritated by pushing and pulling of the skin when you apply your makeup. Creams also make the skin look more radiant and moist.

(2) I stick with neutral shades. Remember the less is more tip from the video? I believe that is a tip to live by anytime that you are not looking your best!

(3) I like to play up my lips a bit. Keeping the rest of the face understated but adding a pop of lip color draws attention away from the eyes.

Why You Should Consider a Custom Engagement Ring

When it comes to choosing an engagement ring, the options are seemingly limitless. She can choose rings from all different designers, in all different styles, and from all different periods. But when you get down to it, you really have two main choices:

  1. You can buy an off-the-shelf engagement ring

  1. You can get a custom designed engagement ring

While there is certainly nothing wrong with buying a ring out of the case at your local jewelry store or online (there are many gorgeous designer engagement rings), there are a lot of great advantages to getting a custom engagement ring.

  • She’ll get a ring that no one else has—Your girl is one of a kind. Doesn’t it make sense to give her a ring that’s just as unique as she is? Your special lady will love knowing that she has a ring no one else in the world has. Whenever someone compliments her on her ring or asks her where it’s from, she’ll be able to proudly tell them it’s a custom made ring.
  • You can tailor the ring to fit her style—No two girls are alike. Every girl has her own sense of style, and each one has her own likes and dislikes when it comes to engagement rings. It’s possible that your lady might not like the rings she sees at the typical jewelry store. They might not quite fit her style. By custom designing her engagement ring, you can ensure she gets a ring that perfectly suits her style and personality.
  • You can also tailor the ring to fit your budget—Let’s be honest, buying an engagement ring is a really big purchase. Most guys spend at least a couple months’ salary on an engagement ring. And with times being tough, money is tight and most of us are paying close attention to our budgets. When you custom design an engagement ring, you have the ability to choose different grades of diamonds and different bands to make the ring fit within your budget.
  • You can let your creativity shine through in the design—If you’re the creative type, building a custom engagement ring should be right up your alley. Let your creativity and inspiration guide the design of the engagement ring, so you can give your love something truly special and unique.
  • You can add a personal touch to the ring—Finally, building a custom engagement ring gives you the chance to add that special personal touch to the ring. For example, some guys have integrated diamonds or precious stones that were handed down to them from their family into the engagement ring to create a piece of jewelry that has extra sentimental value.

There are a lot of really great reasons to consider choosing a custom engagement ring. Thankfully, some of the best jewelry sites have features that make it easy for you to build your very own engagement ring from scratch. You could even involve your lady in the process!

The World’s Most Expensive Shoes

Some fashionistas will tell you that there’s no cost too high when it comes to that perfect pair of designer shoes – but some of the world’s most expensive shoes will doubtless prove a little too pricey for even the most dedicated fashion footwear fanatic! Here’s a look at three of the most expensive – and beautiful – designer shoes ever produced by the fashion world:

Diamond Dream Stilettos

Footwear designer Stuart Weitzman has created some of the fashion world’s most desirable and dazzling shoes – they are also among the world’s most expensive! These shoes were designed for Dreamgirls star Anika Noni Rose, who wore them to the 2007 Oscars. It’s no wonder these are some of the world’s most expensive shoes – the Diamond Dream footwear features no less than 1420 gorgeous 30 carat diamonds. The shoes came with a hefty $500 000 price tag, but they’re far from the most expensive womens shoes designed by Weitzman – his ravishing Ruby Slippers are valued at $1.6 million, and his beautifully blue Tanzanite Heels are worth a jaw-dropping $2 million!

Roger Vivier Vintage Heels

Back in 1962, the late great Roger Vivier designed a pair of kitten heels to grace the feet of an Iranian princess. The French designer created one of the world’s most expensive pairs of shoes by embroidering them with silver thread and encrusting them with precious topaz.

These shoes sold for an expensive and impressive $26 629, and today, you’ll find the French Shoe Federation deems Viver’s shoes to be absolutely priceless.

Original Ruby Slippers

Who could possibly forget the gorgeous pair of ruby slippers worn by a young Judy Garland in the 1939 production of The Wizard of Oz? This famous pair of shoes has also earned a place not only among the world’s most expensive footwear, but also in the ranks of the most valuable pieces of film memorabilia. It’s believed that seven pairs of these scarlet shoes were originally created for the film, and the four surviving pairs became some of the industry’s most coveted and expensive shoes. One pair of Ruby Slippers was auctioned at Christie’s for an impressive $612 000.

These aren’t the only Ruby Slippers to rank among the fashion industry’s most expensive shoes. As mentioned above, the original design inspired Stuart Weitzman to create a pair of $1.6 million red satin stilettos encrusted with 642 Burma rubies. The most expensive Wizard of Oz-inspired shoes however, were designed by Ronald Winston and Javiar Barerra in celebration of the movie’s 50th anniversary. The shoes were created in 1989, and featured more than four thousand rubies, not to mention 50 carats worth of diamonds! These shoes boast one of the world’s most expensive price tags, valued at $3 million.

Do you think these extravagant and expensive shoes are worth such a large sum of money? Celebrity fashionistas certainly do!
