Stila has a new lip gloss line out as part of their New Spring Collection . I gave a Stila Pearl Shimmer Gloss a try and really liked this new offering. The pearl shimmer gloss has a nice sparkle to it and, unlike some of the Stila Lip Glazes, which I still adore nonetheless (read previous review), there is no stickiness. The gloss applies with a standard brush. It is not a click up like the lip glazes.

The gloss is also moisturizing and has pretty good staying power. Look for it online or at specialty cosmetic stores.

Stila Lip Glaze Trio at Ulta

I picked up An ULTA exclusive Lip Glaze Trio at my local Ulta store. The trio contains mini Stila lipglazes in Raspberry, Fruit Punch, and Grapefruit.

I’m a pretty big Stila Lip Glaze fan (read previous review), so I was happy to essentially get three shades for the price of one.

If you haven’t tried Stila lip glaze before, it is a fairly thick gloss with a good, but sheer, color punch. They tend toward a slightly sticky side because of their heaviness, but the trade off is that they last a long time and have great shine and color.

Stila Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain

Stila Lip Glaze: An All Time Favorite Gloss

I don’t think I can express enough how much I love my new Stila Lip Glaze Gloss in Fruit Punch. It costs $18 and it makes me want to go buy a bunch more in different shades, so it might make me broke. That is how much I love it!

Stila makes wonderful products all around and I don’t think I have ever been disappointed in any of their offerings, but the eye shadows and lip glaze are the best. The glaze gives a nice punch of color, conveniently matching the name of the shade that I purchased. The shine is amazing, and the color is superb.

The color is something that particularly stands out with me. All of Stila’s eye shadows and lip shades are beautiful–there isn’t an odd or ugly one in the lot, which is unusual for a cosmetics company. Even the best usually have a few dog biscuits. But not Stila!

I also love the applicator for the lip glaze. Stila packaged this with a brush and click up mechanism to deliver the gloss. This makes reapplications in dim lighting very easy. Umm…. It also makes application while driving easier, but don’t think for a minute that I advocate makeup application while driving. Girls! Don’t lip glaze and drive! One additional note on the applicator: Click it up slowly. It works best if the brush is not overloaded. Plus you don’t want to waste any of this great gloss!

By the way, from time to time, Stila offers smaller versions of their lip glaze in packages that include several shades. Those can be a great deal when they are offered, so keep an eye out for those. Ulta stores has three shade red set and pink sets out right now for Valentine’s Day.
