L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick Review

This is a guest review of L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick.

I have lots of beauty products that I enjoy using on a daily basis, but my favorite lipstick has to be L’oreal Colour Riche. I love trendy colors, and this line has plenty of them. The British Red is my current favorite for dressy evenings, and I like a nice peachy color for the day, for a fresh transition from summer to autumn.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick

I love Colour Riche because there is usually a wide selection of colors. From trendy to classic, whether you like matte or shimmer, bright or subdued, you’re guaranteed to find a color you like. They also offer colors that are flattering to a large variety of skin tones, and are deeply pigmented to show up well regardless of skin tone. They have a selection of cool and warm reds, pinks and peaches, so I can always find a shade that looks the best with my skin. They are easy to apply, and only need blotting for the brightest colors, so swiping on a nice neutral before leaving the house is quick and efficient. As a busy person, I’m always looking for high impact, low maintenance make up to maximize my look and save time. Convenience is key for make up on the go, and this lipstick slips easily into a purse or bag, with a snap-lock cap to avoid a mess.

Since I’m also a student, I’m usually looking to save a buck, and it’s certainly one of the most affordable lipsticks I’ve used. It works almost like a lip stain, and I’ve found it to be the longest-lasting lipstick available in its price range. Of course, that comes with the caveat that most colors in this price range don’t last quite as long as expensive lipsticks. You do get what you pay for, to some extent, so a low cost lipstick is probably not going to last for hours like an expensive lipstick. I reapply Colour Riche about once every two or three hours if I want the color to last all day. In combination with a lipgloss or primer, I’ve made it last longer than that, and this lipstick does very well when combined with other products. It blends easily into gloss and primer, so you can mix and match a little and come up with your own unique shade.
I highly recommend Colour Riche as an affordable lipstick that gets the most bang for your buck!

L’Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss Review

L’Oreal Infallible The Lip Gloss that Never Fails

This product review is from a reader. Enjoy!

As a busy mom of three, there are many days that I do not have time to apply full make-up. No matter how pressed for time I am though, I always find a few seconds to apply my favorite lip gloss, L’Oreal Infallible 6 Hour Never Fail Lip Gloss. It is a great product at a reasonable cost, so it has now become my favorite go to beauty product.

L'Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss Review

From its appealing texture to the various shades offered, L’Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss is a great fit for everyone. It is a moisturizing lip gloss that coats your lips with a thick and smooth gloss that lasts for hours. It also has the right balance of shine that it will not overwhelm your appearance, but will accentuate your face. L’Oreal offers various shades in this lip gloss that will blend well with multiple skin tones. Whether you want to dress it up for a night out or stay casual, you will be able to find just the right shade. My favorite, Barely Nude 815, is the perfect shade for everyday wear that looks great with all colors.

L’Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss is also one of the more reasonable, long lasting lip glosses on the market. When I began searching for a new product, I compared prices per unit and was surprised to find a high quality product from L’Oreal at such a competitive price. The clear and curvy, square shape of the tube also makes it easier to utilize the entire product, unlike some other brands. The sleek design also makes it an easy product to carry on the go.

If you are in the market for a long lasting lip gloss that won’t dry your lips out, but will provide moisture and a great look for several hours, this product is true to its name. It never fails!

L’Oreal True Match Roller Foundation Review

L’Oreal’s True Match Roller Foundation has been around for over a year now.  I gave it a try when it first came out and was not overly impressed. Recently, I got another one, I think in a random gift bag. I can’t remember if it was sent by the company or was in some sort of holiday shipment, but a new one mysteriously ended up in my stack of items to review. So, I decide to give it a second try.

Loreal True Match Roller Foundation

The L’Oreal Roller Foundation is a cream foundation, pressed into a pan with a rolling foam brush applicator. The premise is that you roll the brush over the foundation and  apply it to the face use the roller. Think of it as a sort of mini paint roller. The aim with this is a streak free look, but I just can’t seem to achieve that.  I like the general formulation of the makeup OK, but the applicator just doesn’t cut it for me. Every time I use it, I ends up with steaks around my nose and eyes. Those can be smoothed out, but I would rather just use a regular sponge.

In the end, my second try was the same as the first. I’m just not thrilled with this foundation in regard to the applicator. However, when I apply it with a standard sponge, I like it just fine, so I’ll use it up that way.
