Fruits contain Vitamins, Enzymes and Minerals. For me it is truly cost-effective and natural way to nourish the skin and hair. A cup of fruit juice a day is sure to guarantee a clear complexion. It hydrates and rejuvenates the skin and offer de-stressing. These are some fruits with their properties that I recommend to all for beautiful skin and hair.

Apple

It is believed that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apples have been used as conditioner and toner for the skin for centuries.  It is a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium and other Vitamins B. It contains good amounts of elastin and collagen that help to keep your skin young forever. It has antioxidant property and amazing skin-healing powers.  It used to cleanse and soften your skin. It also prevents dandruff. You can use apple as hair conditioner as a final rinse after shampooing your hair.

Lemon

Lemon is a fruit of all seasons and available everywhere. It is an important ingredient in most recipes. It is also home beauty ingredient from early time, used to cleanse and freshen the skin and hair.  It is very important source of vitamin C. It is natural bleach, used to soften dark spots such as elbows & heels and also diminish acne scars. It also helps to prevent dandruff and acts as a deodorant.

Banana

Banana is a great emollient for your skin and hair. This is one fruit that’s abundantly available all through the year.
