Eyeko Strawberry Fat Balm
I was sent a few Eyeko cosmetics to try. Eyeko is a UK company (but they ship worldwide) with cute line of products. The marketing is somewhat anime/manga in appearance and it also reminds me a bit of the Korean company Etude House.
One of the best products I received was their Strawberry fat Balm. The balm comes in a short, fat tube, so it has a large surface area. The balm itself has a light tint and is medium in weight—not overly glossy, but no all that waxy either. It also is tasty!
Mostly though, the thing is just darn cute. I’m a sucker for cute packaging, so I am really liking Eyeko’s products!

Urban Decay Lipstick
Urban Decay has a uniquely packaged lipstick. The tube stands on end with the hilt of a little sword sticking out of the top.
The lipstick itself has a nicely creamy texture with a glossy finish and moisturizing feel. The shade that I tried, Midnight Cowboy, was quite sheer. Urban Decay includes Vitamins A, C, and E in the lipstick.
I like this one, mostly for the interesting look of the container, but also for the nice feel of the product.

M.A.C Hello Kitty Kouture Dazzle Glass Swatches
My M.A.C Cosmetics Hello Kitty Kouture dazzle glasses arrived! The charm on the tubes is..well..charming. The shades will also be of good use to me. I like the lighter shade over just about any lip color, and the brighter pink I tend to wear alone.
My husband also saw the receipt for the purchase of the two dazzle glasses and the Swarovski crystal mirrored powder compact and told me that he really didn’t want to know how much this stuff costs!
It was definitely my splurge of the month!

MAC Hello Kitty Lipstick and Lipglass Swatches
I got three lipsticks and three lipglasses from the MAC Cosmetics Hello Kitty Collection. Below are swatches of the lipsticks.I particularly like the Big Bow glaze, which looks incredibly bright in the tube, but is a nice sheer pink on the lips. From Left to right: Cutester, Big Bow, Strayin.
Below are swatches of the lipglass shades. I am in love with Mimmy. I wear it almost daily right now! Sweet Strawberry is also a nice mid range shade that works well with multiple looks. From left to right: Mimmy, Sweet Strawberry, Fast Friends.
Much of the Hello Kitty is already sold online, but you can still find some items in store.

M.A.C. Creme Team Collection and New Cremesheen Lipglass
M.A.C. has just added some shades to their wonderful cremesheen line of lipsticks and added an incredible limited edition cremesheen lipglass gloss formulation. They will be available in early February as part of the C
ream Team Collection.
The new lipstick shades are not surprisingly quite nice, but it is the new lipglass that really shines. I have always been a fan of M.A.C. lipglass for its wonderful range of shades, but unfortunately, the more pigmented versions of it tend to be a bit sticky. Cremeshene lipglass has managed to keep the high amount of pigment, and yet also not be sticky. Instead, it is perfectly glossy smooth.
I was sent one in the shade Petite Indulgence (pictured), and I adore it. The shades in this line are creamy and smooth instead of shimmery. So they give a nice flat, but glossy color.
The creamsheen lipsticks will become part of the permanent collection, but the cremesheen gloss is limited edition and available only through March, 2009. I’m thinking that I will definitely have to pick up a few more shades of the gloss! Look for them beginning on February 5, 2009
