C.O. Bigelow has teamed up with Marisa Acocella Marchetto, breast cancer survivor and author of the graphic novel “Cancer Vixen: A True Story” to create a special edition Cancer Vixen Collection. C.O. Bigelow will donate $250,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Available is a kit including Lemon Cream Body Wash, Lemon Body Cream, Mentha Lip Tint in Pink Mint, Mentha Foot - Tingling Foot Cream, Dr. Hiosous Quince Hand Lotion all for $29.50.

The Mentha Lip Tint in Pink Mint is $7.50. All are available at Bath and Body Works.

Bobbie Brown Pink Ribbon Collection

This year Bobbie Brown has included one of my all time favorite lip shades in the pink ribbon lip products. The Tulle lip color. Also included is a Pink Quartz Glitter Lip Gloss.

Tulle is just about the best neutral pink/natural shade for me. An often recommend tip for choosing such a shade is to try to match the color to the inside of your lip. This one comes out just right! It is also flattering for a wide variety of skin tones. The lipstick is also high quality in that it is creamy, smooth and well pigmented. I haven’t tried the gloss.

The Bobbie Brown pink ribbon lip collection runs $40 for the set at fine department stores or at the Bobbie Brown website (linked above).

ChapStick Pink Packs for the Cure

This one is on my must buy pink products list!

ChapStick is donating $125,000 this year to the Susan G. Komen For a Cure Foundation with proceeds from its ChapStick Susan G. Komen for the Cure Pink Packs. Here is the lowdown:

October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Here it is, October 1st, which means that a busy month is ahead. During October, companies brand pink products with a portion of the proceeds going to breast cancer research.This year, the Beauty Blog Network is also reviving its popular Comments for a Cure promotion and it has partnered with the Estee Lauder Company to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.Throughout the month, look for Network blogs to pledge donations to various cancer research charities based on your comments. Beauty and Fashion Tech and Girl Gloss will be taking part, with a donation going to the Walter Payton Cancer Fund. I will donate $1 for each comment made between October 13 and 15 up to a total of $50. Readers can also leave their own donation, using the chipin widget in the right sidebar.

Lip Products for a Cure

October is the month of pink and several companies have pink ribbon lip products this year.

Among them, Avon has a pink ribbon lip balm: The Breast Cancer Crusade Lip Balm with SPF 15.

Estee Lauder has a Pure Color Chrystal Gloss. This was sold out online at the time of writing, but check the store counters for it.

One that I really want is Power Kiss from Duwop.
