It is October and that means it is yet again time for pink products to support breast cancer research. One that I love is the Bobbi Brown Pink Ribbon Lip Collection , largely because it is so versatile. These nice and neutral pink shades will look great on a large number of people. The collection features a new shade of Pink Creamy Lip Color and a limited edition Pink Crystal Glitter Lip Balm, and comes packaged together in a pink box.

There is a reason Bobbi Brown is so highly regarded. As with all Bobbi Brown creamy lip colors, the lipstick wears beautifully. It is creamy, just as the name states, and lasts quite well. Pigment and color payout is excellent.  I love the shade! The balm is comfortable and has a nice glitter to it that isn’t too overwhelming. It has very little pigment. Swatches are below:

This year Bobbie Brown has included one of my all time favorite lip shades in the pink ribbon lip products. The Tulle lip color. Also included is a Pink Quartz Glitter Lip Gloss.

Tulle is just about the best neutral pink/natural shade for me. An often recommend tip for choosing such a shade is to try to match the color to the inside of your lip. This one comes out just right! It is also flattering for a wide variety of skin tones. The lipstick is also high quality in that it is creamy, smooth and well pigmented.  I haven’t tried the gloss.

Here it is, October 1st, which means that a busy month is ahead. During October, companies brand pink products with a portion of the proceeds going to breast cancer research.This year, the Beauty Blog Network is also reviving its popular Comments for a Cure promotion and it has partnered with the Estee Lauder Company to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.Throughout the month, look for Network blogs to pledge donations to various cancer research charities based on your comments. Beauty and Fashion Tech and Girl Gloss will be taking part, with a donation going to the Walter Payton Cancer Fund. I will donate $1 for each comment made between October 13 and 15 up to a total of $50. Readers can also leave their own donation, using the chipin widget in the right sidebar.
