Meadow Quinn has a disease that required use of a feeding tube since she was 18 months old. Now that she is older (seven), she needs to attend a feeding clinic in order to learn to eat normally. Q & A With Chase Aston, International Makeup Artist for The Body Shop

The body shop is running a great charitable promotion: Get Lippy, Prevent HIV. Right now, the proceeds from every limited edition Guarana Berry Lip Butter sold goes directly to the Staying Alive Foundation (http://www.staying-alive.org), funding HIV awareness and prevention for young people around the world.

Oh, and the Body Shops’ Watermelon Lippy (pictured) is one of the most heavenly pot lip butters around!

I really love Body Shop products and so I was quite happy when recently members of the Beauty Blog Network had the opportunity to ask questions of Chase Aston, International Makeup Artist for the Body Shop.

I asked Mr. Aston: What hot new lip colors should we be on the lookout for this Spring?

His answer:

Lips are awash with gloss again this season in the prettiest, pearlized shades. Fergie and M.A.C. Viva Glam

Fergie is the new face of M.A.C. Cosmetics Viva Glam. In conjunction with that, visit the special Fergie and Viva Glam section on M.A.C.’s website.

“Kiss Portraits” From DNA 11 Using M.A.C. Viva Glam Lipstick

This is pretty darn cool: Custom portraits of your own lip print! If I wasn’t feeling particularly broke, I would try it out in a heartbeat and make one in the Girl Gloss blog colors.

DNA 11, a company that makes custom portraits from DNA and fingerprints, is now offering a new line of modern art pieces called KISS Portraits(TM) made with M.A.C. Viva Glam lipstick. A portion of sales will be donated to the M.A.C. AIDS Fund.To create a portrait, customers can visit DNA 11.com, which allows them to choose colors, style, size and frame. DNA 11 will then send a lip-print collection kit which includes a M.A.C. Viva GLAM lipstick and Kiss image sheets to capture a lip print. Once DNA 11 receives the lip print back from the customer, designers hand trace the image, customize color and size, print on high quality canvas, varnish, frame the order, and ship it back to the customer.

Kiss My Face Eco Lip Balm: Lip Balm For A Cause
