The holidays are exhausting for any fashionista and we’re all happy they’re over. However, for some, winter rages on and we still want to continue looking festive, fresh, and fun. With bright metallics and sequins, you can shine even when the weather outside is frightful.
Just take a hint from these three red carpet looks:
1. Jennifer Anniston in Valentino
Jennifer Aniston showed off her gorgeous gams in a metallic Valentino mini-dress at The Bounty Hunter London premiere this winter. The look is complimented with Fred Leighton jewels and strappy, silver Jimmy Choo sandals. Our favorite part? The streamlined Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket. With this classic, menswear-inspired jacket, Aniston shows us how to keep warm while looking chic at any event.
2. Gwyneth Paltrow in Elie Saab
It may have been a month ago, but we’re still hung up on Gwyneth Paltrow’s red carpet look at the Bambi Awards. The green Elie Saab gown perfectly accentuates a woman’s frame with detailed sequin work around the hips and vertical sequinning that runs to the floor. The plunging neckline elongates the neck and flaunts a delicate chest for a sophisticated overall impression. Paltrow shows us that even an established woman can rock the sequins look without looking overambitious or cheesy.
3. Lea Michele in Valentino
Lea Michele sings (pun intended) in a plunging neckline, floor-length, nude Valentino gown for the “New Year’s Eve” LA premiere. The dress’ fabric panels transform from opaque to sheer as they continue down the dress, giving playful glimpses of the leg-line. The Valentino dress displays how you can shine at a party without the help of heavy sequins.
All you need is some shine, some sequins, and a smirk, and you’ll be the talk of any event this winter.
