Here is your chance to win six Softlips lip balms: Two Cherry with SPF 20, Two Vanilla with SPF 20, One Softlips Pure in Pomegranate, and One Softlips Pure in Honeydew (read previous review).
To enter, leave a comment by noon central time on Friday, January 16, 2009, stating why you like Softlips balms or why you would like to try them. You don’t have to say much, but just saying “hi” or leaving a couple of irrelevant words won’t cut it!

Unfortunately, as a result of having lupus, I also have Sjögren’s syndrome, which results in dryness of the eyes, mouth, skin, etc. Wearing lip balm is mandatory to avoid chapped lips. I, too, have lip balm stashed everywhere: my pocket, my bicycle, my night table, my computer desk, etc. One can never have too many. The pomegranate and honeydew balms sound very nice, indeed.

I think I’ve used this before, but not sure. It was a long time ago if I did. I have problems with irritated lips in the winter and sometimes in the summer, so I’m always using lip stuff. I actually put something on mine every night before I get into bed.

I like how Softlips seems to work without needing constant reapplication and isn’t super hard nor super greasy. (One lip balm I tried I practically had to crush my lips into my teeth to get it to go on.) I carry lip balm with me everywhere and will often have more than one on my person at a time. Either way I’ll have to get the Pomegranate version. I love pomegranate!!!

I’ve tried Chapstick, Carmex, Blistex, Burt’s Bees, Alba, and so many other varieties of lip balms, including handmade ones, and none of them come close to Softlips. A couple months ago I picked up their sugar cookie flavor, and I am in love! This lip balm definitely lives up to its name. If only I could turn my boyfriend on to it, I’d be one happy girl. The pomegranate and honeydew “flavors” you reviewed sound fantastic for spring!

The packaging already is a 10! The fact that they are becoming the new ChapStick is great! They have both have original flavors, shimmers or tinted ones and they’re going organic. Soflips doesn’t have balms which are tinted which could actually be very good for their company. Either way, Softlips is great and would be fun to use.

I use Softlips products already but have never tried the honeydew flavor. That sounds different. My only complaint about Softlips products is that they need to make the lip balm tube bigger around so that it can hold more lip balm and last longer.

About 8 months ago I started getting acne, adult acne. Since then it has gotten really bad, it is so dry. I do not remember as a teengager it hurting so much like this. My skin is dry, flaky, and painful to the touch. Doctor said it is just adult acne, nothing more serious but dang this is awful. I don’t want to go places because of it. The reason I LOVE Softlips is because of the dryness I am experiencing, combine that with winter and I am dry, flaky, chapped and hating it all. Softlips gives me a break and lips my husband still wants to kiss. I can kiss him without it hurting.

softlip truly is my favorite lip balm. its not waxy and goes on smoothly. it makes your lips incredibly soft. my favorite kind is the vanilla…the problem is my dog likes softlips and in general lip balm too, she eats them. i recently caught her eating my chapstick so i went out and bought i duo pack of softlips. i hid one in my purse and one under my pillow. hopefully it take awhile before she gets her paws on them.

I absolutely love SoftLips lip balm. My lips get so dry that some types of lip balm are actually painful to put on. Not Softlips. It glides on so smooth and instantly makes my lips feel better. The only disadvantage is my daughter loves them too, so they always seem to disappear from my purse!

I rely on lip balm to get through the day. I like Soft Lips because they’re made by the company that I used to buy exclusively — Mentholatum. That stuff was medicated and you could feel it working when you applied it. Anyway, you can hardly find the original stuff anymore, but the Soft Lips goes on very smooth, and I like it a lot.

I have used different variations of Softlips over the years and you know that the end result is always going to be just what the product is named, leave you with soft lips! Softlips has been my favorite lip balm for a couple years now. I’ve always suffered from dry chapped lips and unlike many other lip balms I can apply Softlips once in the morning and my lips will be in great shape all day rather than having to reapply constantly like other brands I won’t name.

I like SoftLips. They go on smooth and don’t feel or taste waxy like some other brands tend to do. Yummy flavors, too!
