Revlon Mix and Mingle Spring Collection Lip Gloss

I purchased a Revlon Mix & Mingle Lip Palette in Chatty Cherry at a local drugstore and love the look that it gives.

Revlon Mix and Mingle Lip Gloss Palette

The gloss is part of a very pretty spring collection that focuses on sheer, light, and feminine shades. With three shades swirled together in a little pot, you can control the color a bit. For example, Chatty Cherry has a swirl of berry red, with frosted pink and lighter tan. Mixed together, they give a very light berry pink color, with a lot of nice shine. No issues with stickiness. For a more berry red shine, I use the red portion alone.

One thing to note is that the color tint to this is very light, so to get a decent tint, I tend to focus on the red, and even then it is like a tinted glow–a particularly pretty tinted glow at that! I liked that, but be aware that keeping in line with the light and feminine theme of the collection, the Mix and Mingle glosses aren’t meant to be much more than a sheer tinted gloss. If you want serious color, you will be better off with a lipstick.

The collection also has some standard glosses in beautiful limited edition shades. Revlon makes great standard tube gloss, and a couple of my all time favorite shades are from their limited edition collections.

All of the Revlon Mix and Mingle products were selling out fast at local drugstore when I was shopping for it, so look for it quickly if you are interested!

  1. I saw these when I was going through the new Revlon “Reveal Your Wild Side” limited edition collection (which I love so far). I was wondering how they’d apply, but I was too cheap to dish out for them. Now that I’ve seen your review and know they aren’t sticky, maybe I’ll pick one up.
    Thanks GG!

  2. This looks so pretty! I’ve been on the lookout for something like this, I’ll definitely have to check it out. Thanks for the great review!
