Prescriptives Spring 2008 Collection Lip Strips

Prescriptives has a new spring collection, Techno Tropics, coming out on January 15. Like with many of the spring collections, Prescriptives is releasing a number of pretty, feminine shades. So if you are getting sick of the black smoky eyes, black nails, and navy blues of winter, you will find the spring collections rather refreshing.

I gave one of the new limited edition lip strips a try in Tropical Warm. These strips contain five complimentary sheer lip gloss shades in cream, shimmer, and sparkle finishes all in one compact. The shades can be worn alone or they can be mixed. As a bonus, the product contains Vitamin E and conditioning ingredients.

The gloss is indeed nicely moisturizing, and gives off a light hint of color. I found that I liked mixing the shades the best for a more colorful, but still very sheer look. Because the tint is very sheer, those who desire more color might want to give it a try over one of the new lipstick shades.
