Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain

I am a pretty big fan of lip stains. They keep color on your lips for a long time, and unlike the long wearing lip products that feel first sticky and then dry, lip stain is comfortable to wear.
Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain is no different. I picked one up in the shade plum wicked, which looks very much like the same shade as Benefit benetint. The color is a nice sheer plum/red that looks quite natural. There are also several other shades available.
The only downside to this stain for me was that it has a roller ball applicator. I find it hard to apply those without accidentally getting some stain outside of the lip area. Fortunately, the Revlon stain does not set instantly and any mistakes are easily removed.
The shade looks especially nice with some clear gloss over it. I am trying out both a Neutrogena clear gloss and an Elizabeth Arden right one now and both worked well over it. Look for write ups on those glosses soon!

When I first came across Rimmel Underground Light Beam After Dark Lip Gloss, I only saw it available in one shade that I was not very interested in. But today I came across it at Target in multiple shades, so I picked one up in a nice light pink color.
This is one heck of a fun gloss. There is a light in the lid that turns on with the push of a button on top. The attractive rectangle container also has a mirror on the side. So you can reapply your lip gloss in the dark!
Oh and the gloss is darn good too! Great for clubbing, or just plain fun to carry around, I highly recommend this one!

The Shiseido 2007 fall makeup collection has three new shades of lip gloss. Each shade is a nice modern neutral.
I tried the shade peach melba. It is a nice neutral pink/peach shade that instead of being high on shimmer, is high on gloss. With fall here, I have tired of all of the shimmery summer shades, so a high shine replacing the shimmer was a welcome relief!
I had never tried Shiseido lip products before and was highly impressed with this gloss. The Shiseido gloss is nice and thick, without any hint of stickiness. And I do mean absolutely none! Instead, it feels incredibly smooth and moisturizing. It also has great staying power. In all honesty, this is one of the best glosses I have tried all year. That surprised me a bit. I know that Shiseido has great products, but with so many quality glosses out there, I was surprised at just how much better this gloss was from most of the rest of the high end pack.
